                                       Reaching with Visual Symbols
Visual symbols requires more preparation and more learning. Visual symbols include drawings, cartoons, strip drawings, diagrams, formulas, charts, graphs, maps, globes and etc. Visual symbols will be made meaningful if we can use them as summaries of our own direct experiences or our own rich indirect experiences. The proper use of visual symbols will contribute to optimum learning. The collection, preparation and use of these various visual symbols depends to a great extend on our own resourcefulness and creativity. They may be used in different ways and in different phases of the lesson depending on our purpose. If we use them skillfully, our classroom may turn into a beehive of busy students.

The power of Film, Video and TV in the classroom
The film , video and tv are indeed very powerful instructional tools. When they are used appropriately and moderately, they can make the teaching -learning process  more concrete, lively, colorful and interactive. It contributes to a more lasting learning because of its visual, audio and motion effects. This effects make learning fun. However, misuse and abuse of their used in the classroom and even at home has far reaching the damaging effects in the development of children imaginative and thinking powers and sensitivity to human life. The most significantly cited weakness of the tv is the effect of tv violence of peoples' aggressive behavior. The effect of tv depends on how it is used. Film, video and tv provide us with sound and sights not easily available even to the viewer of real event through long shots, close ups, zoom shots, magnification and split screen made possible by the tv camera. Excessive tv viewing works against the development of the child's ability to visualize and to be creative and imaginative, skills that are neeeded in problem solving.

Making the most of community resources and field trips
Field trips offer an excellent bridge between the work of the school and the work of the world outside. Acquisition of lasting concepts and change in attitudes are rooted on concrete and rich experiences. Field trips are opportunities for rich and memorable experiences which are fundamental to learning that lasts. The real world connection is more work but the benefits of broadening teaching beyond textbooks for outweigh the little bit of time it takes from a teachers schedule. The field trip can nurture curiosity, build a zest for new experience, and a sense of wonder. Field trips are expensive. They require much time for preparation and planning includes discussion and decision on what to do before, during and after the field trips. Field trips abolish the "walls" that divide the classroom and the outside world. Field trips also connect people community resources like historical and scenic spots, museums, zoos, botanical gardens, places of exhibits can be destinations for field trips.

                                       Teaching with Dramatized Experiences
Dramatization is essentially a process of communication, in which both participants and spectators are engaged. A creative interaction takes place, a sharing of ideas. Dramatic is something that is stirring or affecting or moving. Dramatized experiences can range from the formal plays, pageants to less formal pantomime, tableau, puppets and role-playing. Plays depict life, character, or culture or a combination of all three. This portray vividly important ideas about life. Pageants are usually community dramas that are based on local history, presented by local actors. Pantomime is the art of conveying a story through bodily movements only. Tableau a french word which means picture this is a picture-like scene composed of people against a background. Puppets presents ideas with extreme simplicity without elaborate scenery or costume. Role-playing is an unrehearsed, unprepared and spontaneous dramatization. This is highly effective for lessons in the affective domain. A dramatic entrance is something that catches and holds the attention of our students and it has an emotional impact. Dramatic experiences cater to students' multiple intelligences. Plays, pageants, pantomimes, tableaus, puppets, and role-playing are obviously most fir for kinesthetically intelligent. When pantomimes, tableau, and puppets are accompanied by music, musical intelligent is at work. This cannot be implemented by individuals alone. This should have a team to come up this, the interpersonal intelligent is at work.

                                              Demonstration
Demonstration is showing how a thing is done and emphasizing of a salient merits, utility, and efficiency of a concept a method or a process or an attitude. Demonstration is something very handy. It requires no elaborate preparation and yet as effective as the other instructional materials when done properly. A good demonstration is an audio-visual presentation. We future teacher we must be accompanied by some visual in demonstration to make it effective. To plan and prepare adequately for a demonstration, we first determine our goals, the materials we need, our steps, and rehearse. That is very important to make the demonstration effective. In the actual conduct of the demonstration itself we see to it that we:
*Get and sustain the interest of our audience
*Keep our demonstration simple, focused and clear
*Do not hurry nor drag out the demonstration
*Check for understanding in the process of demonstration
*Conclude with a summary and
* Hand out written materials at the end of the demonstration.

                           Contrived Experience
In these lesson I learned that contrived experiences are basically needed in teaching learning process wherein it is refers to as substitute of real things when it is not feasible to bring real to the class. Contrived experiences is very important to me as a future teacher. In this, i should immerse my student in this area to develop their ability and skills in this field. This contrived experiences are designed to simulate to real life situation and it is needed in both teacher and the students in their learning.

                                              Direct Purposeful Experiences
Direct purposeful experiences are firsthand experiences that serves as the foundation of our learning. The opposite of direct experiences are indirect or vicarious experiences. Direct experiences lead us to concept formation and abstraction. In teaching learning process, it is learning by doing. We can learn everything from our experiences in life. Through our five senses we experience different , we learn from it and it become memorable on us and become part of our life.
